Galup is a name, an original recipe, a unique and different way from all the others of making panettone and colomba.
Before Galup, panettone was only the Milanese one.
The low panettone with hazelnut icing is an intuition of Pietro Ferrua, born in the Langhe, but adopted by Pinerolo. His idea, his recipe. An innovation, brilliant and tasty, that reinterprets an ancient Lombard tradition and a few years later inspires a new classic of Piedmontese fine pastry making: the Colomba Galup. Over time, the recipe has been refined, but the personality of the dessert is always the same, the same one that Pietro Ferrua gave it and that in a few years earned his pastry shop the patent of Supplier to the Royal House.
Generation after generation, in almost a century of history, we have offered our consumers the excellence of a unique Panettone and Colomba, renewing it over time with new recipes and sweet creations. The Italian Patent and Trademark Office of the Ministry of Economic Development has included the distinctive sign of Galup in the Special Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest. An important recognition in 2022, the year of our centenary, which fills us with pride and rewards
Galup's historical connection with production, the territory, the history of our country. What kind of Christmas and Easter would it be in Italy, without Galup?
